I feel extremely lucky, firstly to be born and have this fleshy prison to play with and experience th wonderful madness called life.

I have been painting for over 40 years now, and what I have learnt is, that it makes more sense than anything else I have ever done.

I have been very lucky in the sense that I have managed to live from selling my work, my work has sold without even trying to sell it. It has allowed me to travel, exhibitions in different cultures, Tokyo, India, Cyprus, NewYork, London etc

I always think “why should I live in fear of not having”. With all the billions of souls in the world, (and we are all going to breath out our last one day) so what difference does one more soul make?

there’s a saying that says, “If you are scared of Dying, then you’re scared of living”… which I agree with

I have(fortunately or unfortunately, depends on your perspective) have been fortunate enough to have had some wonderful car crashes(relationships), And I became a father to a beautiful daughter in 2005.

I have to use a walking stick, which is an interesting experience, It’s like being made a 100 years old, before you’re a 100 years old, so I guess it’s a privilege, as not many people get to experience this unless… mmm? everything is done a lot slower(which is not a bad thing)

there’s a saying that seems to resonate with me, “Change What You Can, and What You Can’t, Change the Way you Look at It”

But although I can’t run-around like I used to, It doesn’t really matter.. As long as I can pick up a paintbrush and stand infont of a canvas, all is well…

anyhow, middle finger up to all the bullies in the world,(what ever form they take), school, work, government, etc

Art School should be made compulsory
